Like many she came from the Commonwealth. She ‘Answered the Call’ of the British Government for people to come to the UK to address short falls in the work force in the aftermath of the Second World War. May came to work at Glenside Psychiatric Hospital in the 60s and describes her journey, training and ambitions.
